Who are you?
People I’ve Never Met
Not every image that surfaced while building this archive was a postcard. A few are ordinary photographs of people — a doorway, a table, a stage, an afternoon by the water — caught up in the same boxes and files as the postcards, with no name attached. They stay here rather than being discarded, and rather than being folded into the postcard collection as if they were something they’re not. Who is pictured, and what the occasion was, isn’t recorded.
